The AHF is a permanent, annually renewable source of revenue used to serve the housing needs of the City’s very low-, low-, and median-income households. Historically funds have been used to create and preserve affordable housing, support homeownership efforts, and fund homelessness solutions.

In the survey below, SDHC is collecting public comment, or feedback, from community members on how they think AHF funds should be used in the City of San Diego.

The deadline to submit comments is 8 a.m. March 2, 2026. All relevant public comments will be included in the final Fiscal Year 2027 AHF Annual Plan.
